Location/venue information

Adelaide Showground, Wayville

Situated in the South-Western corner of the Adelaide parklands, accessible by all major forms of transport (bus, train and tram) its 5 minutes from the CBD and 15 minutes from the airport.

It’s managed by the oldest business in SA, established in 1839, the Adelaide Showgrounds boasts a wealth of history and experience that is unmatched in this state.

The Adelaide Showground has onsite parking for approximately 2,000 vehicles.

Buses run from Government House approximately every 10 minutes, with only a 15minute bus ride to the Goodwood Road Entrance. Last bus leaves at approximately midnight.

Tram depart Victoria Square and 5 minute journey to Goodwood Road State (Stop 7) walking from the Tram stop to Showgrounds takes approximately 10 minutes. Trams depart every 15minutes last tram on Saturdays is approximately midnight.

Train depart from the Adelaide Station (under SkyCity Casino on North Terrace), walking from the Goodwood Station to the Showgrounds takes approximately 10 minutes. Trains leave every hour, last run departs at 11.55pm

Time Zone – Central Standard time

Drivers Licence – Overseas driving licence's are accepted in Australia and valid only for the same class of vehicle. International Driving Permits are also recognised. Drivers must carry licence's/permits and passport at all times while in charge of a motor vehicle.

Electricity – Australia uses 240 volts AC. Only a few hotels have 110 volts AC. It is recommended that if bringing 100 volts appliances you bring a plug conversion kit.
