South Australian Teenager Alex Larwood preparations have been in full swing in the lead up to the 2017 World Junior Motocross Championships in Estonia on 30 July. Motorcycling SA are thrilled about Alex’s selection to represent Australia. The Yorke Peninsula pocket rocket will do battle against the world’s best Junior MX riders in the hotly contested 85cc class alongside Jett Lawrence & Cody Chittick also representing Australia in this class.
Alex will be among a very talented team formed with the very best MX juniors from around the country. MA are very enthusiastic about the prospects of this year’s competitors and hold high title hopes for Australia.
Alex has been training hard throughout the year, practicing at his home track under the guidance of his coach Shane Metcalfe as well as competing in the 2017 SAMX Championships around the state.
Alex will have one last hit out at this weekend’s 4th Round of the Eagle Trailers and Campers South Australian MX Championship, being held at the iconic Andy Caldecott Park in Keith South Australia, before setting off on the massive 23-hour journey from Adelaide to Estonia.
