IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL OFFICIALS

MA is very aware that all of our officials are very passionate about motorsport and do not hesitate to volunteer their time to many motorsport organisations.

This note is just a friendly reminder to let you know that when you volunteer to work at an MA permitted event, you will be provided with public liability and personal injury insurance including ambulance cover and income protection, and management liability cover while you participate in an official role.

MA will also support you in your endeavours with proven training methods, specific licencing and permit structures and procedures for managing all motorcycle sport disciplines.

We don’t mind that you might be helping other organisations, promoters or non-MA affiliated clubs, we just want you to make sure that you are you are looking after yourself and your family by checking out that the organisation you volunteer for, is actually looking after you.

We don’t mind that you might be helping other organisations, promoters or non-MA affiliated clubs, we just want you to make sure that you are you are looking after yourself and your family by checking out that the organisation you volunteer for, is actually looking after you.

Your MA officials licence has the ability to protect you in many ways, but those benefits do not carry over to organisations working outside of the MA structure, clubs that are not affiliated with MA or clubs that choose to work outside of our permitting system.

Just remember, if there isn’t an MA permit in place, MA has no way of looking after you.
