Experienced Presenters join the Elite Rider Program

With the Motorcycling SA Elite Rider Conference happening this weekend, we are thrilled to announce the experienced team of presenters that our 2018 Squad will be able to learn so much from.

In the Fitness and Nutrition section, we have once again joined forces with Aaron Buchan as our official fitness, nutrition, strength and conditioning guru for this year’s conference. In 2015 our Elite Riders were put through their paces with Aaron’s unique training styles from well over 10 years’ experience. Aaron is very well known for his strength and conditioning skills along with a long list of qualifications in nutrition and mind coaching.

Aaron will be taking the squad through their paces in all the key topics when it comes to conditioning their bodies both physically and nutritionally, looking in to sections of strength and conditioning, pre and post event recovery as well as teaching the benefits of fuelling their bodies with the best foods to perform at the Elite Level.

In the Media & Sponsorship section of our conference, Motorcycling SA have called in none other than Wade Aunger. Wade’s career spans over 30 years as a live circuit and TV motorsport announcer having called a broad range of disciplines including Speedway, Supercars, Supercross, Drag Racing, V8 Utes, Superbikes, Offshore Power Boats, Superboats, Ski-Racing, Truck Racing, Motocross, Rally, Enduro, Speedway Motorcycle Grand Prix in New Zealand, Sydney and Melbourne, the Knoxville Nationals in the USA and the Rory Schlein Testimonial in the UK.

For the last ten years he's mentored the Speedway Australia Rising Star Program speaking on how to foster and develop Public Relations skills, public speaking and general sporting business etiquette.

In our final session of the day, our riders will learn about mental toughness and how to deal and overcome challenges that they will face throughout their careers. Geof Boylan- Marsland from Mind Matters Psychology has been our presenter on this topic since the creation of the program. Geof has worked with numerous South Australian Sports Institute athletes and has worked as the Performance Psychologist for the Adelaide Thunderbirds as well as working with teams in road cycling, BMX, swimming and track & field. With Geof’s experience our riders are sure to learn the essence of keeping a cool head with the challenges that being an elite rider can bring.

Motorcycling SA along with the Elite Rider Program are looking forward to hearing from all our key presenters on the day. It will be a jam-packed day with a lot of meaningful information for the squad to learn and develop. We thank our presenters for coming on board to teach our 2018 Squad.
