He started riding Observed Trials in 1958 then moved to Speedway until 1961. He has been the president of the Murray Bridge Speedway Club since 1995. He still enjoys being involved in Motorcycling and learning about ALL codes of the sport. Ivan is a current FIM qualified speedway official.
h) 08 8571 1187 m) 0429 922 552 Lynn is currently also on the MA inaugural 'Women's Commission'. She has many years of involvement in Speedway, Enduro, Road Trials & Motocross both on committees, ACU/MASA Board & Treasurer and also as part of a support team for family riders. She gained her Level 1 Coaching licence in 1996 but has since let it lapse. Lynn is the Chairperson of the newly formed MSA Womens Development Committee.
Phil Turnbull m) 0412 764 141 Phil has been involed in motorcycling for 3 years as the speedway sports manager and on the SA Speedway Committee member since 1980. Speedway Referee/Track Steward since 1981. MX Steward accredited. Clerk of Course for Speedway/Track/MX. Speedway Sport Manager since 2005.
m) 0403 386 788 Rick has been on the board since 2009 but has been on the Road Race Subcommittee on and off for the past 15 years as well as President of the Phoenix Motorcycle Club since 2007 and a life member for over 20 years. Having been involved in motorcycling all his life he has competed in road racing as both an ‘A’ Grade solo racer and a sidecar passenger with the late Mal Evans, motocross (previously scrambles), time trials and enduro’s. Rick has also competed in the 24 hour trial seven times.
m) 0418 827 586 Shane has been involved in Motocross since the age of 4. He has won 8 Australia Junior National Motocross Titles and Won over 40 Junior and Senior SA State Motocross Titles. He is a former pro factory rider of nine years where he won multiple Australian MX & SX races. He has represented Australia in Indonesia, New Zealand and Europe multiple times. He retired from professional full time racing at the end of the 2007 where he took up the opportunity to work with Yamaha. He is the SA Yamaha Junior Development Team (YJDT) Manager. Agent for the Yamaha Australian Institute of Motocross Program (SA, NT, VIC and TAS) and also a MA Accredited Level 2 Motocross, Supercross & Freestyle Coach.
Chris was voted to the position in early 2007. He has been involved in MX for about 6 years. He has been the president of TTG MCC for 3 years and is a level 3 officials. He hopes to develop and promote the sport for both juniors and seniors.
