Moto trials are one specialised form of motorcycle sport where speed isn't the determining factory. The machines are small, very light and nimble. The courses are often impossible looking, up or down sheer cliff faces, over huge boulders and rocks and through creek beds.

The object of Moto Trials is to complete the course with out putting a foot down to assist balance. If the rider does then they incur a one point score. The rider the complete the course with the least number of points is the winner.
