Motorcycling South Australia is proud to present the Junior Motocross Team SA, ready to take on Australia’s finest at the ‘wild, wild west’ in the 2024 Australian Junior Motocross Championship, to be held from the 24th to the 28th of September 2024.
With all the action set to reach a new level in Bunbury, approximately 175km south of Perth, 2024 is set to be a fantastic showcase of the finest motocross talent, all in one place. Not only is it a popular tourist destination, but the Shrubland MX Park track will also serve as an exceptional backdrop for the 2024 Championship, providing riders with a challenging experience.
The Motorcycling SA AJMX selection panel has appointed Craig Bahnisch as the Team Manager for 2024. Craig brings a combination of passion and experience within the motocross environment and will be an exceptional asset to Team SA 2024.
After an outstanding number of applicants who expressed their interest in being part of this year’s team, the 2024 Team SA AJMX riders have been selected based on the following criteria:
- International results;
- Previous AJMX results; and/or
- 2024 SAMX Championship results.
At Bunbury, the Team Manager will select a final team of eight riders to have the opportunity to compete in the State Team Challenge. This selection will be based on their qualifying results, in accordance with the Manual of Motorcycle Sport Regulations (MoMS).
